Last week in Mavrovo the first seminar on “Gender Perspectives: Promoting Gender Equality in Sport” was held. The seminar was conducted by Henry Yvonne from Women Win, an international organization that is a global leader in promoting gender equality in sport and strengthening youth through sport.
Through the innovative LEGO Serious Play methodology, the participants defined the most common barriers and challenges faced by young girls when participating in recreational sports as well as the barriers related to low representation of women in managerial positions within the sports sector.
