About TAKT
TAKT (Together Advancing Common Trust) is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering cross-cultural understanding, promoting dialogue among communities, combating gender and social discrimination, and empowering vulnerable groups.
The work of TAKT aligns with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) outlined by the United Nations, including SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 5: Gender Equality, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
Through its focus on developing leadership, teamwork, employability and social cohesion skills of young people, TAKT contributes to SDG 4, which aims to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.

Our Story
How We Got Started
TAKT was founded by a group of passionate and dedicated women, each bringing their unique experiences and expertise to the organization. Inspired by their globetrotting adventures, cosmopolitan thinking, sports background endurance, and linguistic and social work expertise, they recognized the potential of sports and creative activities to foster trust and break down barriers among diverse communities.

Through collaboration and perseverance, TAKT has grown from a small grassroots movement to a dynamic non-profit organization, making a tangible difference in the lives of the individuals and communities around us.
